There is always a taxi waiting for you at Aarhus Airport. The taxi queue is right in front of the arrival area.

SAS Airport taxi
SAS Airport taxi service is a door-to-door transportation between Aarhus Airport and an Aarhus address. SAS Airport taxi is available for reservations made in connection with SAS domestic flights. Payment can only be made directly to the driver and only cash payment is accepted.

Airport bus to/from Aarhus

In connection with the majority of flights, there is an airport bus service between Aarhus and Aarhus Airport. Tickets are sold on the bus. Accepted currencies are; Norwegian Crowns, US Dollars, Pounds and Euro. Major Credit Cards are also accepted.

Train

Travel time from Copenhagen main station or Kastrup Airport to Aarhus by train approx. 3-4 hours.
 

Bus

Going by bus is easy
Board the bus by the rear door. There is free transfer to all buses in Aarhus with a valid ticket or bus pass. The route network is divided into four zones which cover Greater Aarhus. The Tourist ticket and the Aarhus Passport are valid in all four zones. If you use an ordinary Multi-Ride ticket, you should remember to check whether it is valid for the zones you pass through. If it is not, you can obtain an additional ticket for each additional zone from the ticket machine in the bus.

Cash ticket
You can use cash tickets. Buy them on the rear platform from the ticket machine. Buy a cash ticket if you need to travel by bus only once.

Tourist punch ticket
One day - One person - All zones. The Tourist punch ticket is valid for 24 hours after you have punched it at the start of your first journey. Free transfer to all buses. The Tourist punch ticket is also valid for guided sightseeing tours.

The Aarhus Passport
Buy an Aarhus passport for two days or a whole week - and the town´s yours! The Aarhus passport allows you to travel as you will by public transport within the Municipality of Aarhus and also gives you free admission to many of the attractions in town.
