Modern Taxonomy course programme 2010-2011

DEST (Distributed European School of Taxonomy) announces, within the framework of EDIT, a number of theoretical courses for students, technicians and early career researchers involved in the field of taxonomy. Primary objective of the programme is to provide future professionals with fundamental expert knowledge on basic taxonomy. The course programme targets topics such as: nomenclature; describing, writing and illustrating biodiversity/species; collection conservation. A limited number of EDIT grants is available.
