Countdown 2010: 20 success stories published

The IUCN’s Countdown 2010 initiative is almost over. But the actions of its nearly 1100 partners worldwide are not!

The IUCN's Countdown 2010 is comming to a close. A plethora of initiatives conducted by the partners worldwide demonstrate the importance of Countdown 2010. 20 of these success stories have now been published, showing examples of actions taken to make adoption of protection measures, implementation of action plans, raising awareness and reduction of biodiversity impact.
